Real estate is what I do. Grand Forks is who I am.

I moved here when I was seven. I left. I came back on purpose. That last part is the one people find strange, and it’s the whole reason I’m good at this job.

I’m a REALTOR® with Oxford Realty, helping people buy and sell homes across Grand Forks, East Grand Forks, Thompson, and Manvel. Most of my work is with first-time buyers and families outgrowing the house they’ve got.

If you’re buying, selling, or trying to figure out whether this town is worth moving your family to, I can help. No pressure, no pitch, no sixteen follow-up emails from a system.

Josh Tuinder, real estate agent in Grand Forks, North Dakota, on the flight line at UND Aerospace

What are you trying to do?

Buying a home in Grand Forks. First house, bigger house, or the one you actually wanted the first time. I’ll tell you what a place is really worth and what it’s going to cost you in February.

Selling your home. You’ll get a straight number, not a flattering one. Sometimes those are the same. Often they aren’t.

Moving to Grand Forks. Coming for the base, the university, or a job you just accepted. I’ve talked a lot of people through their first North Dakota winter, and I promise it’s more manageable than the internet led you to believe.

Why me?

I’m the Flight Line Manager at UND Aerospace. I run a crew that fuels and moves aircraft in whatever weather North Dakota decides on. Before that, the Air Force. Both of those taught me the same thing: show up early, tell the truth, and handle the ugly part before it becomes the expensive part.

I’ve got four kids. I know exactly how heavy the wrong monthly payment feels. I’m not going to talk you into anything.
