Something out in the country

Adam wanted a place in the country with a little acreage. Nothing huge. Someone in the admin office at Oxford sent him my way, and we got going.

We found something right off the bat. We only looked at two or three places total, and one of them was his.

Not much, honestly

The inspection barely turned up anything. Adam took the house as is and didn’t ask for a single repair.

There was some bank stuff on his side, but it cleared up quick and I didn’t have to get involved. A smooth deal leaves room for the fun part.

I asked

Whenever I see something like that on a property, I ask. The worst they can say is no. I also knew these sellers were downsizing into a condo, so a plow truck and a riding mower weren’t going with them.

We ended up with an older Ford F-150 with a plow on the front and a John Deere rider about four or five years old. It went through on a bill of sale on the side for zero dollars. The listing agent brought the title to the closing table. The sellers didn’t push back much, since it was all paid off and they had no use for it.

Ready for Winter

Adam was stoked. He couldn’t wait to get moved in, share the place with his kid, and start living his life. With a plow already on a truck in the yard, he was set for the first snow.

Josh is a great individual who is very smart at what he does!!

Thinking about a move of your own?

Every deal here started with a question somebody asked before they were ready to act. Call me and tell me where you are at. I will point you to the right guide, or I will just answer the question and save you the reading.
